Remarks for the Time Period
   0      0545 hrs.   T  T  32.2   Precipitation started as very fine particles of ice or sleet but ended after 5 to 10 minutes.
   1      0605 hrs.   0   T  32.2   Precipitation is now drizzle with the temperature just 0.2 °F above freezing.
   2      0640 hrs.   Glaze  0.01  31.5  Mostly freezing rain with a small amount of sleet mixed in with the rain. The deck is already slick with ice but no ice on the driveway.
   3      0845 hrs.   Glaze  0.04  30.9  Freezing rain continues and the temperature drop is now the concern.
   4      1030 hrs.   Glaze  0.15  31.2  A period of sleet occurred between 0840 and 0900 and the temperature fell to a minimum of 30.7 °F at 0855. The temperature has now slowly increased to 31.2 °F.
   5      1200 hrs.   Glaze  0.19  31.9   The temperature is still increasing and should soon be above the freezing mark. Roads and streets are just wet as the ground is still warm from the high temperatures days before this storm.
   6      1300 hrs.   0.2  0.23  31.6  Sleet started at 1230 and 0.1 inches of sleet has occurred in the past 0.5 hour and there is 0.1 inces of glaze. The street now has some slush on it from the sleet of the past half hour and the sleet has lowered the temperature 0.3 °F.
   7      1440 hrs.   0.2  0.30  31.3  Currently Glen Allen has freezing rain and the temperature has decreased 0.3 °F since 1300 hours.
   8      1930 hrs.   0.2  0.68  31.3   Precipitation is mostly over from the first low pressure and tomorrow's low should bring only rain. This will be the last of the obserations from this storm. The sleet total for the day was 0.1 inches.
