By 0830 the precipitation was broken snow crystals show light to moderate riming of the snow crystal fragments. From 0850 to 0900 the snow became very light and turned into a very small sleet particles mixed with snow particles that were irregular broken fragments.

By 0920 the snowfall rate increased from very light to light and continued light through 0935. At 0940 some larger aggregate flakes started mixing in with the smaller particles and the temperature has fallen to below freezing now.

15    2200 hrs.   0.9  0.25  25.4   Freezing drizzle was the main type of precipitation during the pass hour. Heavier precipitation is expected after 2400 but it should be in the form of freezing rain.
16    2300 hrs.    0.9  0.26   25.1   The sleet has turned in to snow in the form of small particles of graupel showing heavy riming. We have some heavy precipitation that should be arriving by 2400.

  0100 hrs.
1.2  0.33   26.1   The heavier precipitation arrived around 0030 and was in the form of sleet. Currently moderate to heavy intensity of sleet.
19    0200 hrs.   1.3  0.44   25.5   Light to moderate sleet has been falling most of the past hour.
20    0900 hrs.    2.7  1.19  31.6   Heavy sleet intensity between 0400 and 0600. It took a lot of hot water to melt the the sleet in the gauges to get the liquid amount of precipitation. This sleet, snow and ice will take a long time to melt particularly in the shadows.
