Remarks for the Time Period
0830 hrs.   T  0.05  38.0  Snow started mixing in with the rain around 0830. We had already 0.05 inch of just rain before the snow started.
0930 hrs.   0.3  0.11  34.2  Large aggregates or fluffy assemblages of many crystals that makes it look like a spring snow. Snow has melted on roads and driveways but not on insulated surfaces (Poor conductors) like mulch and on the elevated snowboard. The elevated snowboard is 3 to 4 inches above the ground and has 0.3 inches of snow. The aggregate flakes were smaller the last 15 minutes of the past hour.
1030 hrs.   0.2  0.17  34.1  The snow stopped shortly after the 0930 post and turned to a mixture of rain and sleet and melting has decreased the accumulation this past hour. The melted precipitation is more than expected as some of the snow was still not melted in the tripping bucket gauge at 0930 but has now melted.
1200 hrs.   0.2  0.29  34.4  The precipitation is mainly sleet but occasionally rain mixed with sleet.
1230 hrs.   0.2    35.0  After 1230 it was all rain and the total rainfall was 0.40 inches on the 16th, 0.84 inches on the 17th and 0.19 inches on the 19th.
