Remarks for the Time Period
   0      0000 hrs.   T  T  33.1  First flakes seen at 8:38 PM and the radar shows snow filling in to the North and to the west even out to the east side of the mountains. the total raifall earlier today before the snow of tonight was 0.32 inches and 2.99 inches for the January total so far.
   1      2038 hrs.   T  T  32.8  Still above freezing at 5 feet but the sky mirror is almost covered with snow and it is starting to stick on the snow board.
   2      2200 hrs.   T  T  31.9  The temperature is now below freezing and almost 0.1 inches on the snow board. The snow is light and the next reading will be at midnight
   3      2400 hrs.   0.2  0.01  30.3  Most of the snow is now moving past Glen Allen to the east and little additional accumulation is expected here. Another observation will be taken around 7am.
   4      0500 hrs.   0.2  0.01  29.4  Snow started again at 0500. The 0.01 inches liquid and 0.2 inches of snow carried over from January 26, 2015.
   5      0600 hrs.   0.5  0.03  28.2  This snow is from the backside wrap around of the low pressure that was the uncertain part of the forecast yesterday.
   6      0700 hrs.   1.2  0.06  28.1  Still a light snow falling at 0700.
   7      0800 hrs.   1.5  0.08  28.4  Our Glen Allen location is stll staying under a snowband that runs NW to SE and the snow in this band is progressing toward the SE. The snowfall rate is light at 0.3 inches per hour.
   8      0900 hrs.   1.7  0.09  29.0   Glen Allen continues to stay in the wrap around band of snow on back side of the storm in the NE. Many of the snow flake forms are really pretty dendrites and a few show stellar crystals and are not broken and irregular as is often the case. The snow is very light with an approximate 20 to 1 ratio.
   9      0945 hrs.   1.7  0.09  30.4  The snowfall ended at 0920 with no additional accumulation.
