Remarks for the Time Period
   0      2115 hrs.   T  0.15  37.2  Heavy sleet for about 5 minutes from 2100 to 2105 about 0.3 melted and then the precipitation went back to rain. The total precipitation today so far is 0.17 inches and the temperature has dropped from 37.2 °F to 36.8 °F.
   1      2145 hrs.   None  0.20   36.6  The precipitation has been rain since the short period of sleet at 2100 but the temperature has fallen in the past hour.
   2      2200 hrs.   Trace  0.23  36.3  Sleet started again at 2147 but is still mixed with rain.
   3      2230 hrs.   0.1  0.37   34.6  The main precipitation form has been sleet the past 15 minutes.
   4      2300 hrs.   0.4  0.46  33.9  Street covered and very slick and precipitation is now all sleet.
   5      2400 hrs.   0.6  0.59  32.9   The sleet has turned into a form of small pellets and irregular particles that show heavy riming.
   Mar 18th      0030 hrs.   0.7    32.8   Looking at radar the precipitation will be lighter over the next 2 to 3 hours and may increase after that. I will use the snow camera to take the observations into the early morning hours.
   7      0500 hrs.   0.9    32.5  Only 0.2 additional accumulation in the past 4.5 hours. Looking at the radar most of the precipitation has moved to the north of Glen Allen now. The Maximum snow depth was 1.1 inches at 0430 before precipitation turned to rain. Currently there is a light rain occurring at Glen Allen.
