Total Frozen Precip. Inches Total Melted Precip. Inches Temp. °F Remarks for the Time Period
1715 hrs.  T T 36.5 Snow isn't sticking to the ground and the snowfall is extremely light.
1815 hrs.  0.1 T 33.8 Snowfall rate has increased and is starting to stick to colder surfaces. The lawn is starting to get white.
1915 hrs.  0.3 0.02 32.8 The lawn is getting pretty white and areas with mulch are already white. The temperature on metal surfaces is already 32 °F. Snowfall has let up in the past 10 to 15 minutes and has currently almost stopped snowing but there is another band of snow now in Buckingham and Fluvanna counties headed our way.
2015 hrs.  0.4 0.03 32.8 The light source on the snowboard is too close for this snow and is adding enough heat that when the temperature is near freezing it is melting the snow. Tuffs of grass above the ground are now white with snow and the actual ground surface temperature is now 36 °F. The distance of the light source will be increased for the next snow! Snow is melting as it falls on cement walks and streets and the temperature has not decreased in the past hour and by radar it looks like most of the snow will be over in the next 30 minutes. There is now a little small grains of sleet mixed in with the snow.
2115 hrs.  0.4 0.04 32.7 The snow has lasted a little long than it looked like it would from the radar last hour but it has now tapered off to flurries at 2100 hours and ended by 2105. This will be the last report tonight !
