NOVEMBER 12, 2011  Tied for the Lowest  Temperature of Autumn

The minimum temperature last night  was 29.1 °F the lowest  minimum temperature  since October 30, 2011 when the minimum temperature was also 29.1 °F.



  NOVEMBER 16-17, 2011  Heavy Autumn Rain 
The combination of a slow moving cold front and the passage of a low pressure on the cold front gave West Henrico Co. - Glen Allen  a storm total of 2.14 inches of rain.

The rainfall for the 16th was 1.68 inches and the total for the 17th was 0.46 inches.



  NOVEMBER 18, 2011  Lowest  Temperature of Autumn 
The minimum temperature last night  was 28.8 °F the lowest  minimum temperature  since February 23, 2011 when the minimum temperature was also 25 °F.



  NOVEMBER 25, 26, 27, 28  2011  Warm Autumn Temperatures 
Having four consecutive greater than or equal to 70  °F days in November is unusual.

The last time this occurred was Nov. 2005 when the 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th were all equal to or greater than 70 °F.

Also November 2005 had a total of 15 days above or equal to 70 °F;  the record is 16 days set in 1975.



  NOVEMBER 29, 2011   Autumn Rain for a Cold Front 
The total rainfall today was 0.58 inches & for Nov. 3.50 inches.

The high wind gust yesterday was 28 mph at 0753 hours as the cold front passed around 7 AM.

A great temperature decrease of -27.2  °F from the morning of the 29th to the morning of the 30th at  7:20 AM.
