    Glen Allen - Springfield Park station got 8.7 inches on the 18th and 4.2 inches on the 19th for a total of 12.9 inches.
    A record snowfall of 6 inch(es) was set at the Richmond International Airport on the 18th this breaks the old record for the date of 5. 3 set in 1916.
    Richmond International Airport had 0.4 inches on the 19th for a total of 6.4 inches.
    Philadelphia, Pennsylvania reported its second greatest daily snowfall total on record with 22.9 inches.
    It also was the single biggest December snowfall for the City of Brotherly Love
    Roanoke, Virginia recorded 17.8 inches setting a record for the greatest 24-hour snowfall in December
    Washington DC reported 16.4 inches of snow making 2009 the snowiest December on record, all in one storm
    In New York, Upton on Long Island recorded 26.3 inches, the biggest snowstorm on record.
    Baltimore, Maryland recorded 21 inches making it the biggest December snowstorm on record and setting a record for the snowiest December.
