Remarks for the Time Period
   0      0535 hrs.   T  0.01  34.9  The rain has just started to turn to sleet
   1      0635 hrs.   0.1  0.15  33.2  Sleet is starting to accumulate on colder surfaces but not on the street yet.
   2      0735 hrs.   0.4  0.29  30.6  Heavy sleet now and the street is covered by about 0.2 inches of sleet and slick. Also the temperature is now below freezing.
   3      0800 hrs.   0.6  0.36  29.0  The sleet started to transion over into snow at 0755 and was almost all snow by 0800. We also had a wind gust to 29 mph at 0758.
   4      0900 hrs.   0.9  0.47  23.7   Liquid amount is more this hour as the auxiliary heat source was put on to catch up melting some of the sleet in the past hour.
   5      1000 hrs.   1.5  0.56  24.8  Moderate snow this past hour with an additional 0.6 inches of snow. Some snow has been blown off the camera snow board.
   6      1100 hrs.   2.0  0.61  22.9  The snow was moderate to heavy for the first half of this past hour then became light. Looking at the radar most of the moderate snowfall is over. Currently we have a very light snow now and the average wind speed has increased some.
   7      1200 hrs.   2.1  0.62  21.6  Snow has ended except very light flurries. Peak wind gust so far is 29 mph.
   8      1300 hrs.   2.2  0.63  21.3  A period of light snow occurred between 1215 and 1245 and currently it is back to snow flurries.
   9      1400 hrs.   2.2  0.63  21.9  Mainly flurries for the past hour
  10    1500 hrs.   2.2  0.63  21.1  Flurries during the past hour but in the past ten minutes a light snow has started again.
  11    1600 hrs.   2.4  0.65  21.1  The light snow in the past hour added 0.2 inches. I plan to melt the frozen precipitation in the standing 8 inch gauge during the next hour and report it.
  12    1700 hrs.   2.4  0.71  20.5  The heater in the tripping bucket gauge always evaporates some of the liquid so the liquid precipitation is measured in a NWS 8 inch diameter gauge. We try to keep the liquid amount in the hourly table accurate but the correct amount isn't accurately determined until the snow is over. Today we found 0.06 inches of liquid had evaporated. Also the 0.71 inches is today's precipitation. The total precipitation yesterday was 0.12 inches so the storm total was 0.83. inches.
